The Capital Country Truffle Festival takes place between June & August and there are plenty of events going on and there are also a couple of wineries where you can dine and taste the truffles for yourself, see below.

Truffle Festival at Café Lerida
For the last couple of years, Lerida Estate has participated in the Capital Country Truffle Festival. What this involves is organising an event or two involving truffles, and featuring truffles on the Cafe Lerida menu during the short truffle season.

Fireside Festival

Enjoy an intimate experience with roaring fires, regional food and distinctive wines at the Canberra regional Fireside Festival every weekend during August. Murrumbateman Moving Feast

Indulge yourself with fine food and premium wines, enjoy local produce, attend a wine show tasting, win prizes and enjoy some relaxing time among the vines. Start the weekend with the public tasting at the Murrumbateman Cool Climate Wine show before heading off to the wineries. Each winery will provide an entree size serve of a particular dish to match their benchmark wine.
